One of the signature new features of Dreamweaver CS6 is fluid grid layouts, a new approach to responsive web design. Instead of creating a site-wide media query file that imports separate style sheets for each type of device, a fluid grid layout creates all the media queries in a single style sheet. It also adopts the approach of styling for mobile first.
In this free video from his recent course Dreamweaver CS6: New Features Workshop, David Powers shows you how to use a fluid grid layout in your web design. You’ll see how to set up a layout, modify the settings, and deal with some common gotchas that you may encounter.
