New Android App and Updated iPad App

Hear that buzz? That’s not the bees, hum­ming­birds, or tree frogs — or, depend­ing on where you are right now, maybe it is. But the buzz I’m talk­ing about is the one in the video2brain com­mu­nity over the release of the brand-​​new Android app.

Start­ing today, the new video2brain Train­ing App for Android devices is avail­able on Google Play (the Android app store) free of charge. This makes video2brain’s exten­sive library of video train­ing — cur­rently includ­ing more than 190 courses with over 730 hours of con­tent in Eng­lish, and 1380 courses with 6451 hours of con­tent in Ger­man, French, and Span­ish — acces­si­ble on all Android-​​based tablet com­put­ers and smart­phones with a large enough dis­play for the pur­pose. At the same time, we’ve also released a new ver­sion of the video2brain iPad app that allows users to syn­chro­nize their train­ing across all of their devices.

This is a fea­ture that we’re quite excited about — both apps give you this abil­ity to syn­chro­nize across devices, mak­ing it easy for you to, for instance, watch part of a course on your desk­top in the morn­ing, then a few lessons in a standing-​​room-​​only train car on your phone, then a lit­tle more on the air­plane with your tablet, then the rest on your lap­top when you reach your destination.

Both apps also include an option to down­load courses you’ve pur­chased for offline learn­ing (video2brain Plat­inum sub­scribers can down­load any course of their choosing).
